The full-suspension e-mountain bike Thron² 6.8 from Focus is equipped with the new powerful and dynamic Bosch Performance CX drive. The integrated battery can be easily removed and has a capacity of 625 Wh. The sensitive 130 mm FOLD chassis consists of a RockShox Recon suspension fork and Sr Suntour damper. The eMTB is rounded off by the impeccable Shimano SLX gears and reliable 4-piston brakes.

The equipped EQP models have a luggage rack, mudguards, a stand, and light. From bike packing to commuting to trail tours in alpine terrain, everything is possible. All non-equipped models can be retrofitted.

FOCUS OPTIMIZED LINKAGE DESIGN FOLD

FOLD stands for FOCUS Optimized Linkage Design and offers the ultimate rear suspension. The patented FOLD kinematics make it possible to optimize the rear triangle for a wide variety of requirements: FOLD responds extremely sensitively, but still offers enough progressiveness so that the damper does not bottom out. For the 2020 model year, Focus FOLD has undergone an update.

The rear end has become stiffer without sacrificing the proven advantages. How does it work? The guide link now moves in the main link. It now consists of two components and is screwed together. It is stiffer because the acting forces are distributed directly through the link and no longer via the bridge. At the same time, the linkage appears even tidier thanks to the integration of the guide link.

RAPID AXLE TECHNOLOGY (RAT)

RAT is the fastest thru-axle in the world and stands for Rapid Axle Technology. It is the first thru-axle system that combines the stability, alignment, and lateral stiffness of a thru-axle with an extremely fast wheel change. In terms of simplicity and speed, the patented RAT system even surpasses conventional quick releases.

INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING

The routing of the cables and hydraulic lines is protected within the frame. This ensures a tidy look and extends the service life of the cables, thus always ensuring perfect shifting and braking.
